Winners Group Initiative started as a merry go round group by 25 women in 2014, our aim was to enable each other support our families. We were contributing kshs. 400 every week each so only those who were financially stable could afford to join which did not fully fulfil our objective. We decided to save kshs.100 from each member’s contribution and support our sisters who were full-time housewives to buy foodstuff. Later we thought it would be better if we supported them start small businesses to increase their income; that is how our micro-loan program started. Currently we have more than 250 women, 4 youth groups and ongoing support to Muthiga & Githaruru primary school girls with sanitary towels.
It is our mission to support marginalized youths, women, children and people living with HIV/AIDS helping them to access and excel in education and businesses. We preserve and seek alternatives to increase positive societal impacts with an aim of empowering our community members to improve their own lives and create positive, sustainable change.
Our vision being ''To create a better everyday life for the many people''.
